The horse with many legs is an homage to Muybridge's stop action photographs of a galloping horse, which influenced Degas. The head with the horse shoes employs blacksmithed barn hinges and hides a 19th century child's shoeshine foot rest. The tall horse is Han-like in its elegance.


I see these as scale models and hope one day to erect them 10 to 15 feet tall.
