Steel is an alloy primarily of iron and carbon. Steel is lean, strong, and very elastic. Steel's strength allows for thin sections. We can draw in space. Steel can be hammered, cold rolled or blacksmithed with heat. Steel can be welded in sections, allowing the creation of great fabricated dreams standing tall on their own legs. Steel rusts if not painted.
Stainless Steel is an alloy of iron, chrome and nickel. It never rusts. It is a modern metal... inert, noble, truthful. It can be polished or a patina can be added to capture and reflect light. Stainless is both muscular and fanciful.
